I live in the bay area, I've heard about a workers permit, but I don't know what age and how to apply for one. Help? :)

Go onto California's Department of Labor website...they have this information posted right on there for all to access.

Yes I have heard of a workers permit but the laws have changed so many times in the last few years that you should double check and make sure before you start looking for work.

15 1/2 i believe. You can go to your school and ask one of the staff members.

well where i live its 13...they have a youth worker program..most jobs start at 15-16 tho

it would depend on type of job. i suggest you consult with your local government unit. your local librarian or police department might help.
