The word actually has more than one meaning. Simon C has given you the one that most frequently applies, but as you are referring to arbitration, you need to be aware that determination is also the process by which the arbitrator reaches a decision ( "the final determination" ).
And, having been there, if you go down that route, determination is what you will need to see it through. Having said that, it is usually easier, quicker and cheaper than a full blown court hearing. |
