It depends on your state. Most places it's the same as for anyone older, but there are places where a "training wage" would be allowed for maybe 90 days that's lower than the regular minimum.
There are also different rules for tipped employees than for employees who aren't tipped.
No way to give you a number without knowing where you are and what your job is. |

the minimum wage is the same for everyone of any age. it doesn't matter how old you are.

The poster above is wrong - the minimum wage is NOT the same for everyone.
* £5.73 per hour for workers aged 22 years and older
* A development rate of £4.77 per hour for workers aged 18-21 inclusive
* £3.53 per hour for all workers under the age of 18, who are no longer of compulsory school age |

NJ's minimum wage is $7.15. Go onto your state's department of labor website. They always have it posted right on the front page. |

It really depends on where you live actually. Probably a good bet is hourly wage is 5-7 dollars an hour =3
