My friends son made a mistake and went to prison for 3 months but he got a job and has been working for the last 5 years. He had to keep applying but eventually was successful so you really just need to keep applying and don't give up.

Pretty much an open field for a Con. Be what ever you wish. A carpenter apprenticeship with a Union would be a great start. In most places, you can work year around and pull down about 100k a year with insurance and vacation benifits. |

I have been around guys who have came out of prison and they complain cause they say that the best job they can get is a construction job. |

It's really though..my son is in the same position and after a lot of research the industry that seems to hire one's in that situation are those that need welder's. Other than that it helps if you know someone who owns their own business and work for them and save your money and start your own business. It's really hard and I now understand why so many go back to prison, because society makes it extremely hard for those who really have learned their lesson and want to become productive citizens.
