I work for an insurance company they paid them thousands of dollars when a house is burned down or when they need remodeling work ...well thats where I come in ...I am a sub contractor but the company is not paying me what it agreed on and might have been stealing from me for years without me noticing it. The company pays checks in what ever amount they want its never the same amount and its hard to keep up. I keep all my checks in place and in order but I never question whether I was being paid the amount agreed on. Well now I just finished a job worth $7,000.00 which was the amount agreed on to be paid to me in full and the people I hired are pressuring me to finish paying them. But as I was checking the amount that was paid to me in each check and I went to the office they say They have finished paying me which is not true...what can I do? I dont know whether its the general contractor stealing from me ...or the actual company.
