I am going to go for my AA at Cerritos college to become a paralegal, and then transfer to CSULB to further my education in pre law and then hopefully go to law school to become a lawyer. I was just wondering, if I get my associates in city college and become a paralegal, would my major still be pre law or something else?

It is a certfication, not a degree. Talk to your guidance counselor to make sure you don't double up on credits since you want to become a lawyer. You don't want to pay twice for expensive college classes. |

At my university, the paralegal program is a certification that does not fall under a major. It is usually a seperate education program that offers certifications. You should check your college's, distance ed/continuing education programs. |
