What "real" jobs can a 14year old get? It's legal where I'm moving.?
|
I looked up the laws and it says a 14 year old can work.

What "real" jobs can you get? Besides things I can do while i'm 13, such as baby sitting & dog walking. Additional Details I like horses but a lot of stables won't hire until you can drive.

1. Any place that hosts kid's birthday parties -- if you like kids and have a lot of patience.
Chuck E Cheese is the largest that comes to mind -- 470 nation wide
Jungle Quest. It had fun things for kids 5 - 12. Zip lines and rock walls (with safety harness), rope bridge, big swings, etc. Not many -- only 7. But there could be something similar in your area.
2. Working in the snack area of a movie theater.
3. Do you have any interests? Sometimes volunteering can lead to a job -- the library, a museum, a zoo, a theater. Some schools will let kids your age help younger kids with reading, math or other subjects.
4. Do you play a musical instrument? Elementary music teachers can always use a volunteer.
5. Become an inventor. Think of something you wish you had -- something that would make your life better.
6. Write a book or paint some pictures. Learn to be a great photographer. Learn about investing your money -- form a club with your friends.
Good luck. |

When I was 14 I got a job at the country club washing dishes.
I then moved up to working on the gulf course. It was the best experiance I could ever got at the time. It has taught me alot and still use what I lerned from it today. Even a golf caddy to start. |

You may be able to waitress or wash dishes. I would stick to the first two options you gave. I made a lot of money babysitting as a kid. |
