I graduated from college with a associates degree in criminal justice. What career path can I follow that does not involve law enforcement and security. Lawyer? What else is there?

Anything you want. Over 85% of jobs people hold are not related to their college majors. Figure out what you love to do and then fine a job that pays you to do it. 8~) |

I am not saying this to be a smart a** it is a fact. Unfortunately, an Associates nowawdays will not take you very far. Even jobs for receptionist and secretaries want a bachelor's degree. No one can advise you what to do. You must have majored in criminal justice for a reason. If that reason has changed I suggest you return to school and get your bachelor's. That's how I found my niche many moons ago. One class led me to my career path. Good luck! |

Warning: Jobs in the field of law are REALLY drying up FAST!!! This is not a good field to invest in right now. Reasons: bad economy, everyone thinks they can do their own law work thanks to the web, law schools (Including those that train legal support staff) are churning out more graduates than today's economy can support.
Suggestion: Go into the field of healthcare <<LOTS of jobs there. (Even with your background.)
