well it depends, is the change perminant? if so if you want to be an engineer then you need to go elsewhere to work. |

Do it. There are a lot of people with out jobs right now. If a manager or supervisor asks you to do other duties you should do it and not second guess it. I could understand if it against the law or endangers you in any way but its not going to its a secretary position. |

Nothing. Unfortunately because of the economy employers are taking advantage of there staff more than ever. You can refuse but also risk being terminated. |
