Whats the law????

In my job u have to send timesheets off weekly to head office to prove u have been at work, i have posted these but they havent received them so i havent been paid for 12 weeks, there is no clause in my contract to say if timesheets arent received u dont get paid. whats the law regarding this???
Additional Details
i have spoken to head office and they said unless they receive timesheets they wont pay u. They said to get resign them but someone said this could be seen as fraud. i work for a company that has concessions in stores across the uk

You MUST be paid for all hours worked.

Who have you contacted to find out why you haven't been pay.

Based on your posting, are you an Employee or an Independent Contractor?

Go to the labor board office and file a complaint! They can not with hold your pay!

if they haven't got them (and face it, the post has been **** this past couple of weeks) then there's not a lot they can do about it, but they should have offered you an alternative, like you should have been able to fax them through, thats what I always used to do with my H/O documents and then post the if needs be.

So fax the time sheets to them saying their being resubmitted to them per their request and be done w/ it.

Withholding wages is illegal. Go to your local CAB for some specialist help with this.

Do you have photocopies of the timesheets or if not, maybe the person who signed them has a copy. I can't understand why you didn't bring the situation up with the company before, if 12 weeks this has happened now.

Unfortunately the company cannot pay you without proof that you have done the work - but they should be able to make a compensatory payment to you as a matter of urgency until this has been sorted out. You'll need money for mortgage/rent. food & bills so they can't let you go without if it has been their mistake.
