school has a few places that will take us on but for NO money and I am not sure re the places as they seem boring ie factory supermarket hospital.This would be at easter hols Is it worth it?

I did work experience when I was at school. It was compulsory to participate in it, but it wasn't over the holidays - it was a regular school week.
Without wanting to sound negative, you're right, those places do sound boring. What are you supposed to learn in a supermarket or a factory? It sounds like the employers think they can get free labour by participating in the scheme, and it'll be more beneficial to them than in it to you.
A hospital is different though. Hospitals can always use volunteers, even if you're not doing anything more worthwhile than chatting to someone who's stuck there by themselves and is lonely. So, even if you don't think you would want to consider working in a hospital as a future career option, it could still be a good way to spend your Easter holidays. |

i did work experience at a school. i thought nothing of it at the time but i want to be a teacher now. best bet do something you enjoy or with family members |

Yes it is definitely worth it ! When you get out of school, the first question they will ask you in an interview is 'What kind of experience do you have?'. Unless you have the experience they are looking for, you will be passed over for someone who does have the experience. |
