Actually under federal law,you have to be sixteen to work in most non farm jobs. One of your parents AND one of your friend's parents will have to see your school counselor or better yet go to the schol district administration office and ask for a Workers Permit Application.
The parent fills it out,signs it and mails it to your state employment commission,or state department of labor (whichever one you have).
Once you get the permit,you must submit a photo copy of your permit and submit it with every application you make.
You and you friend need to get to the Department of Motor Vehicles and get yourselves a photo I.D.made too. |

Well usually you have to be at least 15 to get a job..
But you can:
-Cut grass
-Babysit(my favorite)
-Help ppl with painting and fixing there house.(neighbors of corse) lol.. |

i don't know where you live, but in my state fifteen is the legal age to start working. but you could always cut grass, babysit, take up a paper route, there are plenty of things you could do but as for an actuall job you will probably have to wait |

I live in Ohio and the equivalent to a Winn DIxie down there is a Kroger up here and I know you can get a job there as a bagger at age 14 so maybe check out your local grocery store.
You could also just babysit or mow lawns or something classic like that. |

Grocery store, or a Fast Food place, or perhaps babysitting. By the way, when you're actually "working" somewhere you won't be able to "hang out" with your friend. Most bosses expect you to work and not chit-chat with your friends.
