Am being asked to come in for a 2.5 hour closing shift...

When I was making schedules as a retail manager in MA I was told it had to be a 3 Hour shift minimum. Im not sure if this was a company directive or if we were following state guidelines,

I believe it was state law though

Federal, no minimum. To my knowledge MA doesn't have either, I couldn't find anything, but I could be wrong on that.
