I would check on an employment service and also check out sites like monster.com

Go to forums and post your qualifications and what you are willing to do for a start. Nobody wants to hire someone without experience for a very important case BUT there are a lot of people out there who could use your skills and qualifications, most of all your assistance. so volunteering will help you get noticed, add more qualifications and experience on your resume and eventually help you land on a job that you really love.
Employment is down. If you can have ANY job, go for it.
It is an excellent way to be noticed amongst thousands of job hunters out there.
Imagine what it is like for those who are out of jobs and do not have education background such as yours? Usually, when you help out, rewards come threefold...
Persist in your endeavors, be resilient (for the world can be a little cruel), focus on your goals.

Don't be suprised if you can't find a paralegal job (because you have no experience). A lot of newly grads find themselves in the same position. You may have to start as a legal secretary and earn a position as a paralegal at a law office. This is a very common route. Check out listings with your state government or try careerbuilder. |

You didn't say what kind of school. If it's high school you just finished, you cannot just get a job as a paralegal. Paralegals are trained professionals that command salaries that can be equal to that of a lawyer. Many schools have Legal Secretary courses and Legal Assistant courses. The difference between these two job titles and a Paralegal is about $50,000 per year. Attend a Paralegal program, and put in the hard work. You won't regret the hours once you hit $85K per year. There is a huge difference between calling yourself a paralegal, and being one. |
