Can you swim? If you can't you should probally learn how and take lifeguarding lessons before the summer. I statred lifeguarding when I was 15 and I still do it now in the summer when Im home from school. It was the best job ever! I got paid almost twice as much as the kids my age, I was outside all day, I got to see all the cute boys, I got to boss kids around and I even found an indoor pool to work at during school. You should really look into taking classes.

1. Learn calligraphy so that you can provide handwritten invitations and thank you notes to prospective wedding parties, birthday celebrations, etc. Seek out clients through wedding planners at nearby churches and temples. A starter calligraphy kit usually runs around $20 and anyone can easily pick up this skill. The going rate is usually $1 per hand addressed item.
