My answer is presuming you are actually an employee of Fantastic Sams, and they are setting your hours.

Even on commission only, your employer is required to pay at least the minimum wage in your type of position. Keep your payroll documentation and file a complaint with the Department of Labor (DOL). They will conduct an investigation and pay back wages if it is determined your employer was in violation of FLSA. Keep in mind it will take a while for the investigation to be conducted. Good luck.

It may depend on what the "shadiness" might be. But the first place I would start is with my state's Attorney General's office. They like to know about potential illegal activity.
