Criminal Law has the most openings. You never know when you may need an attorney to fight that speeding ticket or represent you for that felony bad check

The highest demand for attorneys are in the legal field of (1) intellectual property; (2) immigration; (3) bankruptcy; and (4) business litigation.

It depends upon what type of position within the law field you are looking at.

For example, if you are looking for a Paralegal position, Corporate, Business Law, Trade and Patent Paralegals are highly sought after and pay very high.

If you are looking for a position as an attorney, litigation attorneys are highly sought after and pay very high. Litigation attorneys can do a variety of work, such as criminal law, personal injury, lawsuits, etc.

Family Law. Divorce and custody are and will remain biggies.
