Which is better, a bachelor's in Criminal Justice or Legal Studies?

I am trying to decide between a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice with a Minor in Psychology, or a bachelor's in Legal Studies with a Minor in something like Business Administration. I have read that either one of these degrees could pave the way for a Law Degree and various other types of work. Can anyone tell me if one of these is more useful than the other?

It really depends on the school you are going to attend. Check out their programs for each (Criminal Justice & Legal Studies). Legal Studies could be more broad than Criminal Justice.

Depends on what you want to do. Why not you become a secruity guard at your local mall? That's a good job. I would say do Criminal Justice and that is a good background for that.

If you think you want to practice criminal law, I would go with the Crim Justice classes. Even with Legal Studies, I would opt for the Psych minor, if you think you want to be a litigator (trial attorney). B.A is good to run your own firm, but I think a lot of that can be picked up along the way. Good luck, but talk to some attorneys. Most, including myself, don't enjoy it.
