I have not been paid today because of a mistake at work. I have no money because of this result they owe me 16 hours. They have told me i owe them money because over paid tax or something. who can i contact about this matter because no one in wages will listen and they said they wont be able to pay me for another month?

Speak initially to your line manager, if no joy then the HR department.
If your payroll dept say you owe tax then get them to show you why/how. If you are on PAYE then it is more likely their fault.

Put your question in writing to the payroll department. Explain your question fully, and ask them to respond in writing.
If it is a tax overpayment, that should show quite clearly. Your 'top line' (the actual amount you earn before deductions) should be the correct amount. But the tax office would spread any repayments over the rest of the year, I think.
If this doesn't work, go to the CAB and ask them for advice.
I get very frustrated about things like this. The people who run the payroll should be responsible enough to explain things to people properly.
