Who holds your boss accountable for being late?
Find answers to your legal question.

Who holds your boss accountable for being late?

I work in retail and I was "written up" for being late 3 times in a one month period. I checked time keeping records and my manager has been late over 15 times since jan 1 2009. I was wondering who holds her accountable for being late, and how come she can get away with it? Our DM obviously doesn't care.

You need to report her to the Board of Directors or the actual store owner. What she is doing is costing the company money and by my personal experience someone who is late that many times usually has a drinking or drug problem. Send a anonymous letter to the Board or owner and ask for her to be drug tested.

My boss does whatever he wants to do.

You go hold your boss accountable for being late if nobody else got the courage to do it.

Yeah! Get rid of that boss!

Yeah! He won't be your boss anymore.

He'll still have his job bossing somebody else setting at your old desk but he won't be YOUR boss anymore.
