Convenience store clerks are prey. Police officers are hunters. Only crazy people shoot at police officers. Sane people know what's coming if that ever happens. The code for the gang in blue, is to protect their own. Convenience clerks, have nothing but cameras. I could never be a store clerk, without a gun on my hip, and one by the counter. Plus clerks are by the money, police officers are not.

i going to go with the store clerk, they are usually unarmed

Probably a convenience store clerk, because most of them aren't armed. When someone sees a police officer with a gun, they probably aren't going to shoot them because they could get shot back.
