I graduated with a 2.7. In my major related courses I received A's and B's. What should I do? I am looking to become a legal assistant.

Many places do not care about your GPA, but it seems like the law profession does! I am in a paralegal program. I already have a BA with a 3.7 GPA and I have been told that will make my resume stand out. That is one of the reasons I am in this course, because I know all that work will finally pay off and someone will notice my honors. It has been pretty discouraging that no one has in the past years.
I definitely do not think you will never find a job. I cannot see all of the lawyers/firms demanding a 3.0. You need to apply everywhere because that is the best way to open up the opportunities. Make your cover letter and resume perfect. Having errors is not acceptable. Employers look at everything, esp. in today's economy. You have to be perfect and really gain their interest through the cover letter. That will set you apart. There is a lot of competition out there, and you have to put yourself at the top.
