Find answers to your legal question.

Will i be able to recieve unemployment?

I have been on my job for 10 months I am at a job that has a very strict attendance policy if you miss more than one day in a calander year they will terminate you. My daughter has fallen very ill and i have to miss work, i know that when i return i will be terminated. Will i be able to draw unemployment?

Peek misses sister Isis...allot!
fired or laid off ..should not be an issue..she has been paying on this and ""she deserves it"" for working. If her empolyeers fight it she can appeal to the unemployment judges.

File..now and see what happens. Bush is givin out $$( the $$ comes from the employers funds) so go for it.

not if it's their policy. When you started you probably signed a sheet of paper saying you read and understand company policy. You can surely apply for it and maybe you'll get it. But if the employer fights it they may just have to show the document you signed indicating the attendance policy

NO. If they fire you, it will be for cause and you will not be able to collect. They will not care why you were absent from work. Being fired for too many days called in is cause and disqualifies you from unemployment.

I would try taking a Doctors note concerning your daughter firstly, you may be able to avoid being fired by showing that you had an emergency that was unavoidable.
You may be able to collect unemployment but it won't be much unless you held a job prior to this one.

Depends if they fire you! Yes. If they do a lay off. Then your screwed best thing to do is check out the .gov website. If you have good work experience you will be able to collect.
