Would there be any legal way to do this?

A few years ago, because of the HIV / AIDS scare, using blood in public school science labs was banned.

I can't find the exact ordinance, stature or law that says this, but I was wondering if there was any way I could get a blood sample legally into the classroom to work with. For example maybe sending blood to be tested then I could bring that to work with.

Any suggestions, links, w/e would be useful.

( Florida Public High School )

You will need permission from your school to do any kind of testing in the lab with blood. The teacher should know the current state and federal laws concerning this as well as the school policy and school district policy on this subject as well. Doesn't really matter what the laws state if the school and school district have a rule in place that forbids it then it is a closed issue.

You need to discuss this with the school. You can have all the law in the world behind you and still get expelled if you don't have the school's permission.
