...check them out with the Better Business Bureau (and) get the address of their Corporate Office and see what their Policies and procedures are... (it sounds "fishy" to me ) |

Don't ever accept a job that requires you to pay anything up front. This fee should be paid for by the company, not you. Someone else said to check the company with the BBB, also google the name and see if there are any "reviews" about the company. I'm guessing they won't be good. |

Never take a job that requires you to pay up front for anything. They could have a policy that you repay them for the training and license if you resign within 90 days or such, if anything. It doesn't say much about their turnover, which you might ask about - how long the average officer has been employed. |

Possibly but there are ALOT of employment scams out there that require you to put money up front. Ask them exactly what license you will be getting and conduct research to see the fees associated with it. As long as you feel confident that the training/licensing is legit and of value then take the chance. Most of the time I would say run away as fast as you can when anyone is asking for money up front for employment but atleast do some research. Google vector marketing scam for an example of the type of schemes are out there to screw you. |

There are a number or reputable companies up around where I live that have you pay up front for the training that you need to do. But as always, check with BBB if you're unsure. |
