my boss is threatening me of salary deduction because of the sick days I have taken.. I haven't taken too many sick days and i suspect he is manipulating the numbers. I think he is trying to bully me until i can't take this on me anymore and i resign. what should i do to take action against him?

i think u should totally screw this a** h***'s happiness..u should take a hidden digital recorder the next time u enter this guy's office...show this recording to a lawyer..n u can sue ur boss for a fortune..cus ur from a diff place n all..:)here's a link for u to buy urself that recorder i mentioned..hope this helps missy..

Uh, THREATENING you with deduction for sick days? You consider that abusive? Unless you are allowed paid time off for a certain number of days, it's absolutely standard and legal to deduct for days you don't work for whatever reason. Being salaried doesn't mean you can work whenever you feel up to it, and still get paid even if you don't.
The sick days are the only thing you mention. If there are other issues, you need to include them in your question. |

How can your boss manipulate the number of sick days you have taken?
Has he paid you for what days you have worked?
If he has, then that is your proof of what has happened, as well
as the payroll records.
If you are having this much trouble with this boss, you may just need to look
for a new job. Even if he is in the wrong, he can still fire you, or make your
life a living hell. Start looking now, for your own health. |
