You go to law school after you finish college. Then you sit for the bar exam if you pass you are a lawyer.

Go to college graduate with a degree.
Take the LSAT (entrance exam)
Apply to law school. (assuming you get into a school based off of you academics and exam score.)
3 years later and probably $100,000-$150,000 in loans later
Take the bar exam

Well, the only way to become a lawyer is to go to law school. You can start at a state college or a university to get your basic four year degree. You'll then need to transfer to a law school for another three years, as well as passing the Barre (sp). It is extremely important to keep your grades high and know what you're talking about. Have an open mind, and pay close attention to details.
