A lady has severly committed contempt with her kids and visiation?

she has let the dad seen them 4 times in 09 .. and not every other weekend. will she get any kid of punishment?

he is petitioning and has a lawyer... do these mothers usually get charged and whats their punishment.afater all they are punishing these children

SORRY TO HEAR THIS.... YES She will be punished in some form.. IF you google the laws in your state it should tell you what can be done.
I understand where yall are coming from. It hasn't been that bad for us but it has been rough.... In VA the parent that is in contempt of the custody agreement can be fined and if they do this more than 3 time in 12 months I do believe it is a felony offense... Make sure you have documentation on these events... What days. what was said. Things such as this that will help the judge to see what is happening.
ALSO--------In some cases these such events have been enough to change the custody order intirely. Meaning THE FATHER maybe able to get custodial rights with the mother visitation.....

If fathers aren't punished for being dead beats, mothers certainly aren't punished for keeping their kids away.
