My best friend of 4yrs started dating this guy for the past month. He just got out of a year relationship a month before they started dating. In the month my friend has been dating him, he's taken control of the relationship. When my friend asked him to stop communication with his ex, his response was if i have to pick between you and a good friend, i pick my friend. Then he said he needs time to decide what HE wants. She cant bring herself to breakup with him, and she just keeps chasing him, the madder he gets even though shes done nothing wrong. Whenver he wants to be happy he will be, and whenever he wants to get upset at her for no reason he will, and she follows this. Shes so dependent on him, and has lost all contact with friends. I'm not sure what to do, especially since she no longer talks to me.

Doesn't sound like there's much you can do to help. She's no longer your best friend. If she no longer talks to you, she's certainly not going to listen to you either. |

just dont forget she is ur friend. try not to judge her just be there for her when she does need u. sooner or later she'll be calling and a good friend will be there |

you need to contact her since she's your 'best friend'
even if she stopped contacting everyone, you need to tell her how you feel about this situation &let her know that you're worried for her.
you're right, she's way too dependent on him..
she deserves someone sooo much better.
you need to ask her: are you truly happy with this man?
he's mad at you at times when you do NOTHING..
he tells you that he has to 'think' about what he wants

Unfortunately theres nothing much you can do about your friends. Its up to her to one day find a way not to put up with this kind of abuse. I'm sure you and other people have expressed your concerns, and its up to her what she does with that. |
