Adult help please...did I by chance misinterpret this man's sign of being interested?

The guy in question is a younger man by 12 years. while picking up our children from school, we would sit and chat, he smiled alot and was friendly. he would ask alot of personal questions like what part of town did I live in, what school did my other kids attended, and things like that. during another conversation, I mistakenly thought he was married and he quickly corrected me , saying that he was not. When we talk, I would mention alot of things I enjoyed and he would comment that he liked the same things. also during another conversation he mentioned that he liked dating older women. soooo I gave him my number one day and asked him to call when he got some time, but I am yet to hear from him... was he just being nice and not really interested ?
I gave him my number yesterday afternoon....

He might be interested. Calm down. It's not even been a full day! Give the man time. If you're freaking out already about him calling you then he's in for one long as* ride. If he likes you, which it kinda sounds like he might, he'll call. If he doesn't, no big. There are more men out there. The ball's in his court.

Patience young Jedi. You gave him your number barely 24 hrs ago (if that). He may take a few days to call IF he chooses to. You can't judge his interest or lack of by him not calling the very next day.

he's interested and he's waiting the 'appropriate' time to call. for some reason, men think there's a time frame to call in, so as to not appear to available.

Take it easy. You gave it to him yesterday. He most likely has a job, family...other responsibilities.

Give it time and let him come to you. If you see him again before he calls you, don't mention him not calling. Just remember, you're the woman, he has to call you. Good luck.

He's probably home wondering how long he should wait before calling...:)
I think it's reasonable to give him 1 week. Maybe he already had plans for this weekend so it's too early to call you for next weekend...he'll call probably in the middle of next week to plan something with you.

You could be right, or not, I would of not told him about your children as you just don't know who to trust these days, just be careful and don't tell someone so much about yourself when you just meet....take care

Um, you haven't given him a lot of time if you gave him the number just yesterday.

My feeling is, give him a couple of days. IF he's interested he'll call.

Or it could be mundane... He might've lost your number.

maybe he is interested and since u gave him your phone # yesterday just wait and see, maybe he is a bit shy. if he doesnt call u in te weekend the next time u see him ask him why he didnt call u and stuff like that.
