After an argument with your spouse, in the middle of patching things up...?

...are you the type who would bring up the reason for the argument so that you two can discuss and avoid it from happening again?
or are you the type who would just choose to forget the argument ever happened and just get back to your usual happy relationship?
just curious.

If you bring up reasons then the argument isn't over at some point just have to let it go, maybe at a later date you could talk about it and you must be willing to for give.

If you choose not to discuss what happened and get it hashed out how can you call that a happy relationship? With one person who has to be hurting it doesn't make any sense to try to call it a happy relationship. If you can't get it discussed out you have a communication problem and it's going to affect other parts of your relationship so there is no other way to go but to get it hashed out.

I like to discuss the situation so that it clears up the whole mess and hope that we both learn from it so it don't happen again. We are so very close as a couple can be, and we do not like to argue. So we both talk it out and fix the problem very soon. (smile)

I'm the one that wants to discuss the reasons for the argument but my husband is the one that would rather forget it and move on.

I try to uncover and understand the reason(s) behind the argument especially if it has been a real heavy duty one. That means looking at my part in ALL of it and hoping that, encouraging my husband to do the same. (It doesn't have to be a long-winded, microscopic analysis.)
In my experience relationships are happy when they are honest, open and any "dirt" has been thoroughly cleaned up.
"Sorry" is an extremely powerful word.
