Wear the ring on your necklace around your neck to get him off your back. Sometimes the guys get a little jealous which is normal but don't push it. Your objective is to keep; you marriage healthy. Do what you can to keep the peace, You would wan him to do the same.

He probably knows you are cute, work around a lot of males, and that guys will try to pick you up. They would do that even with your ring on, though...with it off, he's afraid you might almost be sending a signal that you are available, even if you didn't mean that. He needs reassurance, somehow.

more then likely he will have some great comeback like they all do when they are the ones dishing crap out. but just tell him you arent sacraficing a digit because of his wants!

Your making him mad he will do something similiar and its going to hurt you why not put a fake or cheap nice ring just to make him feel better. i read your situation but ur really hurting your husband by doing that and it sounds like your liking that people dont know your married.

Personalize whatever space you have at work a little by a pic of you and your hubby. Maybe a patch sewn into your work clothes that says Hubby's_(his name)_ girl. I can understand how you cannot wear the ring. It could get caught on some metal and tear your finger off. Honestly, wearing a ring will not stop some of guys anyway. Maybe a picture of you two on a t-shirt. Let him know you love to see him anytime your at work too.

this same argument goes on and on with military couples. it is indeed a fact that wearing your ring, being that you are a mechanic, that you should NOT wear it. one little slip and your finger could be gone, ring in tact.

if you're not against tats, maybe you could each get tats on your ring finger with one anothers names and that way, problem solved! :)

The paycheck is just something he has to work through. He may just need reassurance that you value him if he is insecure. Likewise working with mostly guys is something you did before you married so he has to know that he is the "one".

That said, I can understand that he is upset that the guys you work with don't know you are married (and I understand that with your work you don't want to lose or damage the ring). Why not buy and wear an inexpensive ring to wear on your ring finger while working? That way, your ring finger is taken, everyone can see you are taken (e.g. married) and your actual wedding ring is still protected while you are at work.

I've been through the exact situation your husband went through with my ex fiancee. She worked at a job where she was the only woman and they guys there were adamant about flirting with her and trying to win her affecton. She didn't wear her ring to work. As a result I felt like she didn't want to be in the relationship with me and it made me feel like she didn't care about me or want me because the ring is symbolic for a woman's faithfulness and desire for her man. When the ring is off it basically means you don't care about him or the relationship.
