Anybody have any good experience with marriage counseling?

I would like to know if anybody had any good experience with marriage counseling or counseling in general? Or if you had an unsatisfactory experience with a counselor before explain.
Because in my experience with some of the counselors I've been with, they didn't really give any constructive advice or how to deal with my spouse. They all gave their own bias opinions, sometimes they act like they're superior or intimidating to me and after the sessions, I actually felt worse then I did before I went to the sessions. I didn't say all counselors are like that just the ones that I've had experience with.
Additional Details
I know finding a therapist you "click" with and you are comfortable with is a numbers game but people like me don't have that kind of money to be searching around like that.

Counselors are just people with knowledge and degrees. There are plenty out there who think they are God and have all the answers and they don't.
If you want good marriage counseling, call a large church in your community that you have heard is a good church and is very spiritually oriented in helping people and ask if they have any counseling or leads to a wise Christian counselor. You will know which churches to call.
Counseling actually should be a follow-up step. Drawing closer to God is where you will find healing and answers. Please, read the bible and get in church, a good church, where you can start growing spiritually and get the support you need from people who can really help you take the right steps. |

someone is not always clast as a counselor because they have it on paper. councselors can be close friends or family.
you need to find someone that will sit down and talk to you face to face and understand what ur going through.
fill your life with happy things and that will make u feel better
be ur self!!!!!!!
