I think it's a trade off. Unless you are willing to buy cheap beer don't expect her to buy the $8 haircolor at Walmart and do it herself.

If money is tight both of those things could be considered a little frivolous. But if you can afford it then go for it.

There's nothing wrong with either one as long as you can afford it.. You just need to buy another half a case each month to equal things out.

if you have the money that is, these are a luxury so other things should come first ie. bills, utilities, rent etc. but if theres money left over go for it!

Neither are unacceptable, as long as you have the money for it. They are both luxuries, though, so I would say if you are tight in paying necessary bills, then you may want to cut out the hairdresser or beer.

$100 a month on hair seems a little out of control to me-but if you don't care about the money that's your choice

In your home apparently they are acceptable. In my home... that hairdo cost would not be acceptable. Not that my husband would care one way or the other... but i would think the hair appointment would be too high. One does not get their hair died every month or their hair would be nothing but a fried mess. There is rarely need for a trim per month either, most salons suggest every other month for a few different reasons.

But hey.. who cares if you two are happy... so be it.
