Are you yourself around your husband?

No, I could never really be myself around him. I don't hide anything but I could never talk to him like I would to one of my friends or something. Every time I'm on the phone with some one like one of my cousins or my sister I always try to talk when he's not home. Even when I'm on this website, I always do it when he's gone. I'm happy though, but if we could have a better relationship I would be much happier. I think this happens because we are so different and we didn't get to know each other when we were dating. I'm just wondering why you're asking this

Yes, I am actually myself more when I with my husband than when I am with anyone else. He brings out the best in me. We encourage each other to express our interests in new things, and we both try to keep an open mind and try everything at least once! If you can't be yourself with your spouse, who can you be yourself with?

Yes,if you marry someone you should be absolutely comfortable being yourself, you should be comfortable with anything, open communication and everything. If you are not then something is most definately wrong.
If a person is not happy with who they are when they are around their spouse, then something is wrong there as well.

I hate my weight and I want to lose, but my husband says that I am very beautiful and he hates when I complain about my appearance. That a lone makes me feel very good and very secure. This is a million dollars question, and I don't think anyone would fully admit that eventhough they are happy there is always something that you and only you know. Smth that you don't want to share, but remember do not ask questions that you wouldn't answer yourself. Yes I am myself around my husband. I don't hide anything from him, Yes I can say anything I want, sometimes he likes it sometimes he don't and yes I am happy with who I am when I am around him.

I think everyone has things they don't want others to see, including their husband. No one is EVER 100% with anyone.

I am myself around my spouse, but it took some time for me to get there. I have been with my husband for over 30 years and I feel like if I can't be myself around him then I need to be single. I am 100% myself in whatever I do or say when I'm around my husband.

I do feel that I can be myself around my partner. I'm not worried about embarrassing myself or appearing negatively in his eyes, but of course I will restrict myself from saying anything or doing anything that would offend him.

I wouldn't say that that stops me from being myself, but it's always necessary to hold some things back, should they just result in a fight.

The only thing that I hide from my husband is something that requires batteries because I wouldn't want him to get a complex that he isn't satisfying me cuz he is I just want more...

I'm not married. But I do have a boyfriend, and he knows the real me, as weird and dorky as I am. I am me 100% around everyone, work, friends and relationships. I figure either people will like me or won't, but for every person that doesn't, I know there is one that does. I try not concern myself with what other people will think of me. I'm very happy with who I am. I enjoy being me. It's good times. :)
