Broke up with my fiance any advice on how to move on?PLEASE HELP?

Me and my fiance (been together for over 4 years) We had a BIG fight a week ago about our differences in religion. Then we both said we would do research together and all of that. He promised on God that he would be open with his heart. When we started the researching he started to ask stupid questions, instead of being receptive he was getting defensive. Then when i confronted him about his attidude he turned it around on me and kept asking me the same questions. Very childish. So i realized i cant force anyone to do anything.

That was IT for me. I told him that its over. Maybe life will happen to him one day and maybe he is going to grow up. But its not my responsibility. So i made the best decision so far in my life and i left him. Now i will have all the time in the world to find myself back again, who i am and what i want to become in life. But its really hard, i used to run to him (besides God) when i needed comfort and now i dont have that anymore.

I am starting all over again.
Do you have any advice or anything positive for me to keep my mind away from him? Maybe you have been through something similiar?
Anything would be cool.

Thank you so much :)

Do not be disappointed, you had every reason to leave the guy. Religion is very important in a relationship, God has a plan for you,and you are following it, keep up what you are doing. Love will come when God brings it to you.You are a strong woman and I can tell that you are destined to be great in this lifetime.

How can YOU be sad and disappointed in YOUR life?
Did YOU not make each and every decision that brought YOU to where YOU now are?

You either did not make very wise decisions or you let someone make those decisions for you.
Which was it?

This is why so many people feel so dejected and rejected when they leave a relationship. Because it was not themselves that was making the decisions to begin with. Your spoken or unspoken boundaries were being trashed and because of it - YOU feel trashed.

Again.......who's fault is this?

Time to start anew and find out who you REALLY are.
Need some new tools? I've got one for you. Google up divorcecare.com and find out where/when and GO! It will change your life when you come to a new understanding of who you are to yourself and to others.
You will find healing in the knowledge of what your real responsibility is in relationship.
Whether you get back together with him or not does not matter. It is only about who YOU are that is of import.

You need to mature a little. Religion is a very personal journey and you can NOT impose it on your mate. Sounds like you wanted to force him into agreeing with you on something. Better you give up that attitude right now or you'll never be happy. Live and let live!

If your having trouble moving on you shouldnt have left him in the first place

All of which proves that religion is pointless.
