I got married at 18 when I was overflowing with hormones because I was 6 months pregnant. Can I get the marriage annulled because I was off my anti-depressant when the marriage took place and I even confused the wording of the marriage vows. I didn't say lawfully married I said awfully married. And that is just how it has been awful.

If you can PROVE that you were not of clear mind when you got married, you may be able to annul it. You need to speak to a lawyer. |

You'll have to check with your state's laws (I checked mine recently). In Oregon, in order to have a marriage annulled, you have to prove fraud. I don't think you can prove fraud in your case. I highly doubt there's a way to just annul the marriage based on what little I know of your situation, but try this...contact your state's bar association. You can get a referral through them at a deeply discounted rate for one session (in Oregon, it's $35, which is dirt cheap to see a lawyer!). Make sure you're well prepared ahead of time with lots of questions. I would be willing to bet lots of money, though, that you're going to have to go through the divorce process the long way. |

My sister was married in a catholic church, had a baby, was married a few years and then got an annulment. I don't really know what the stipulations are other than they had to agree on everything 100% to get one. |

Are you kidding me? You are a 23 year old woman with a kid, and at 18 you didn't know what marriage was? Have you never seen a movie, been to church, or gone to school before?
And the answer is no, a marriage cannot be annulled if you consummated your marriage, it is not ending a contract like divorce does, but it acts as if it never legally happened. You were still able to make decisions, even without your medications. You were of sound mind. If you need to get a divorce, get it, but you won't get it annulled. |
