If your husband isn't your best friend, then you've got other problems than platonic relationships with other men. |

yes a married woman and a single man can have a platonic relationship |

I see no reason why not if they are all adults and mature enough, there should be no problems, |

YES< but only if you are open about the friendship with your family. Now if it is a secret no it is not right. I just had this happen to me. I have a friend,he is so close that he comes to the house for any family function like Christmas, Thanksgiving, birthday parties, or my daughters graduation. See mine was out in the open. BUT on the other hand my husband had one that was a secret he works with her they would go to expensive lunches and even instant message each other now that was wrong. We are mow trying to work things out. Good luck to you. |

YES! I have it on good authority (Personal history) that a trusted friend of mine was (and still is) one of my wife's best friends. The catch word here is "trusted"... If you have doubts as to their true feelings or actions you need to talk to both of them and work this out... Good Luck |

Can your husband have a single woman in a platonic relationship be best friends? |

Mosez
if you trust your partner then their is nothing wrong with a platonic relationship, but never hide from your partner the freindship you have with him |

mnwomen
Yes it is possible, my best friend is a man and my husband and he get along fine. You just dont hide it from your partner. |

What I really want to say is yes.. but I really think that the answer most of the time is no. Unless one is super unattractive, and doesn't think the other is even remotely attractive and/or is gay.
Hasn't anyone seen "When Harry Met Sally"?
"There is no such thing as a platonic relationship between a man and a woman!"
It's true. |
