Can a woman answer this bra question?

Women have told me no woman really wants to wear a bra - they just have to because of society pressures. Is this true?

Not true the women who told you that are probably flat chested.
If a woman who has an ample bosom goes without a bra gravity makes em sag.
If I go w/o a bra my back hurts also wearing a bra makes clothes look better.

Not true. I want to wear a bra. I don't like how my clothes look without one.

I have to wear one, but not because of society's pressures. My girls need support!

well i think statements that cover ALL women at once are generally untrue

BUT i think many women don't like them

personally, i am big chested and i prefer to have a bra on as it's more comfortable
i sometimes even sleep with one on
not all the time, but sometimes

so i think many women may not like them
BUT to say that all women don't like them is untrue

Nope! I don't even own one! I wear tank tops underneath everything.

Bra's are stupid..and personally I think they are unhealthy!

I hate them and will not wear one unless I just have to, I wear a tank top under my shirt so the nips don't show.
But I can get by with it i'm not real big- not flat either

In my personal experiences, no it is not true. I always want to wear a bra because I feel uncomfortable having my twins flappin the wind. I do think however that not wearing one with no other support is somewhat tacky, that could the the society pressures that someone else was referring to. I think most women wear bras because it gives them lift and support that makes them feel more confident about their bodies, maybe its just me.

ha ha well i've never really thought about it!! but to be honest i do like that moment just before going to bed when I get to unclip it, its like "Aaaaaaaaw, relief!"

I honestly don't know why I bother with one since my hubby actually gets a kick out of my nipples getting hard when they catch a breeze when I don't wear one.

Wearing a bra is something like having a harness on. Society pressure, yes to some extent, I have rather massive breast and only wear a bra to work. As a professional I get enough stares anyway, without a bra no one would hear a word I say.
Also, it does draw attention which some women don't like. I'm an exhibitionist so enjoy the looks, and don't mind calling someone if they are rude about looks or comments.

Clothing looks better when you wear a bra, so I assume that's one of the main reasons women wear them. If you have a larger chest, it can be a bit painful or bothersome NOT to wear a bra. I usually don't wear one lounging around the house, but that's from sheer laziness.

not true, although men invented bras, and women used to be looked down upon if they didn't wear them, today women have taken control of what kinds of bras they wanted, not what men want.

I know what i look like without one, and its not nice. i choose to wear them, some women dont like them, so they dont wear them.

Its about choice these days.

I prefer to wear a bra. I think it looks better and more respectable. I find in demeaning when a woman walks around in public without one. Some things are better left for the privacy of ones home. Being bra-less is one of those things.

No way we have to wear one to keep those bad boys from dropping down to your knees.

yes. bras are uncomfortable.
but I'm a C cup so I couldn't go without one on in public.

NO. Some women like me have big breast and we need a bra from stopping our breast from sagging. Women can choice if they want to wear it. There is no law. But trust me a bra is way better of a women the lead to believe
