Can true love meet you more than once?

i dont know really, all i know is with me, i met a guy, fell in love with him, and him with me, had the whole relationship thing, then we broke up!!! that exactly happened again, then i met my now fiance, who i love with all my heart, we have 4 children together and looking back i realise even though i thought i loved the others guys so much, i know now i didn't. I've never felt such love for another man as i do now, and there hasn't been another guy, who i know loves me as much as my fiance does. Its what he does for me, how he acts around me, the little 'look' we have between us, it just doesnt' get better that it is now! So sorry but i can't fully answer your question!

Yeah, of course it can. There are lots of people who genuinely loved someone for years and then, for whatever reason, lost them. They've gone on to find someone else they love and lived "happily ever after". I think a lot of it has to do with being receptive - most people in a loving relationship aren't "looking" (or wanting) love anywhere else. Of course, I think there are people who have a very manipulative or selfish view of love and when a relationship stops giving them the gratification they want, move on. Others confuse it with, as you suggest, lust, or just getting on with or liking someone.

On A Journey

Absolutely valid to fall in love more than once and that doesn't necessarily mean you can't differentiate love from lust. Granted my definition of love has evolved significantly from the time I was a teen until now (early 30s). Relationships end for different reasons but that doesn't mean the two people didn't love each other - sometimes there are other factors.

Yes you can love more than once, but they will all be different. I don't believe in one true love only, but I do believe in several possible best matches.
I also believe you learn what love is and should be. Until I met my husband I think I loved others but not as deep and wonderful as I love him

In my experience, "true love" can come along many times. Moreover, a person can be completely in love with more than one person at a time.

For the past 15 years, I have been head over heals in love with two very different, very challenging women, and I can tell you absolutely that true love can be between more than just two people. Perhaps it's rare, but it can, and does, happen.

You can find true love more than once. Well that is what I think. Love grows and each couple are different. Their love is different but it is still true love.

well i guess it depends. i have loved before and ilove someone now. i guess there are different kidns of love....
