no, once a cheater always a cheater. they may say they love you but why cheat then, it's more than the physical they have betrayed you and broken your trust....that is not love.

There are several ways to look at this situation. I could rush off and say hell no, but then, that won't really help. You have to communicate to see why this has taken place. Perhaps there are somethings missing at home...communicate! Find out what went wrong.

I've tried to reconcile with two different people who were unfaithful to me. It doesn't work, NOT because I didn't try or forgive them. It didn't work because they can't seem to make themselves stop being who they are -- immoral, self-centered losers. Don't go back. You can't believe in their love.

Only if you both go to counseling. It's obvious there are some pretty deep issues in your relatiohsip, and you BOTH need to learn how to deal with them if you really want to make things work.

It would have to make me re-evaluate the relationship I would be in...trust is very precious when given to someone and to have it betrayed is very hard to get over.

I've seen marriages that have healed after suffering infidelity. Both parties need to be willing to address all the issues and be willing to forgive, change & move on.

The couple needs counseling to get through it but it's possible.

Now...if the couple isn't married, I'd say move on apart, but if they're married try to make a go of it.

They might love you - and this might be true. But if they are cheating, they are dividing that love and that will soon lead to disaster.

People hurt the ones they love all the time. And if you didn't love them, it wouldn't hurt!

I'd get out as soon as possible, they may love you, but they have lousy boundaries and they don't respect you in the least. They are the sort of person that acts impulsively on their feelings, not using their heads to make good decisions.

This will come up over and over again in any sort of decision making in the future.

That sort of love doesn't count. A relationship needs to be built on far more than 'love'.

Yes, because you are thinking of the past things that make that person the perfect soul mate. However, since they spoil that image you hope to turn that person back to that charming mate. Although, you wish to believe they will change you need to make your decision based on them deceiving you which is facts not on feelings of LOVE. This works in your benefit on working to keep a healthy relationship and keeping a well balances self-esteem.

Love means you are with ONE person. You focus all your time and energy in ONE person. If he cheats then he obviously doesn't love you. dont waste your time, you will end up getting hurt. Once a cheat, always a cheat.

no. cheating isn't a good way to prove someone's love. they shouldn't do that because the person who they really love's feelings would get hurt and they'd probably both be sad if they break up.
