I went back to college and met this great girl, I had a crush on her and it was only a fantasy. I just felt great doing things with her and I had to quit college. She e-mailed me to let me know she is getting married. I am happy for her but sad.
It was only a fantasy, and I knew nothing would ever come of it, but now even that is gone. I feel stupid for feeling bad, so I am trying to feel happy for her, but I can't. Is this wrong, is it normal?

It's normal. You are married, not dead. You didn't cheat nor does it sound like you wanted to. You are a bit jealous and that may not be right but you will get over it.

I think if you have an old crush, and you find out they are getting married, it's normal to feel a little bummed. But if you are thinking about it a lot, that's not good. It's concerning to me that you've posted a question about it... that tells me you are more than just a little bummed.

You obviously need to invest more time in your marriage. I am not going to make excuses for you or say something to make you feel good about yourself. As a husband your loyalty is to your spouse and you should not be thinking about other women. The best advice I can give you is to invite God into your life as well as your marriage. I guess you're pondering on the what if's. What if you were married to her instead? What if she's the one? and etc. I personally think it's normal, there are times were I think back to the 'routes' I could have taken, but didn't, but what ever happens, happens for a reason. Don't worry, but be happy for her, she's getting married. |

That is a normal feeling. I also experience that one. i suggest that you look for another girl that will truly loves you in that case you will forget her slowly by slowly. |
