It'll only get boring if you let it. Find ways to keep things new and exciting. Of course it will settle into a routine after a while but if you find ways to mix things up a bit, it won't be as bad as you think. Good luck... |

Its gets boring if YOU get boring.
Long term relationships are about change, growth and goals. Your relationship has to be founded on like desires for the future, but it also has to be flexible for the unexpected changes that life throws at you.
Example:
You may want to be a musician, your wife may agree to this, but then an unexpected thing happens that requires more income from you, so you may have to take a regular job. You could start to resent your wife for this, instead in working long term relationships you would balance your desire or dream with the changing reality of life. In this instance become a music teacher.
Growth is the other main thing to keep in mind, people often get divorced because "he changed" ....people change as time goes by, and in working relationships this is accounted for with mutual growth.
Example:
Your wife learns the piano, meets new friends and is influenced by them and say, becomes vegetarian due to their lifestyles resonating with her. You could either fight this and alienate your spouse or find a way to incorporate this ethos into your home by eating meat when they are not around, or at lunch during work. This way you freedom does not infringe on her freedom. |

If it gets boring, then it fault on both parts. But no, they dont always get boring. You get comfortable in the relationship just like everyone else does, but that does not mean thatyou cant still have some excitement in your life. It all depends on the couple. |

Marriage is a commitment to put your spouse first in your life as much as possible. Assuming that both spouses are mentally healthy, if each spouse puts the other first as much as possible, the love will come and stay.
You shouldn't think though that it is all lovey dovey all the time. Throughout a long marriage, your spouse will be your friend, lover, playmate, ally, co-parent, and sometimes obstacle and foe. On the occasions where your spouse is an obstacle or foe, you try to resolve the conflict in favor of the marriage. It waxes and wanes. The thing is that you each put the other (and therefore the marriage) first in each other lives. |

boring is good
i mean you could have the excitment of wondering if shes seeing someone, get a vd, get preg and it not be yours.
boring means you know each other not that the excitment is gone but you no longer have to do much to impress each other. your happy just the way each other are.
im doing twenty and we been through alot and im for one glad to have it boring. we still laught and watch movies go out to eat and dont much bother with company that boring and i like it.
think about the thigs you havent even gone through yet getting used to each other you got so much excitement coming your way question is are you strong enought to servive it and hang in there will your love die or grow from it.
if you make it past ten years be thankful you founf a true friend and someone whos in your conner to support you and love you for who you are. |

marriage is not for everyone.. if two ppl marry and they know how to keep the love alive then no it wouldn't get boring.. it would just get better and the two closer everyday.. it get boring cause one loses interest in the other due to reasons so little that in the end leave you with nothing.. some embrace it while others fear it.. you never know until you go through with it.. of course i say this cause me and hubby been married almost 9 yrs and we're growing stronger by the day.. yea it sounds corny but it's true.. we still act like bf/gf from time to time and hold on conversations in bed for hours.. when you feel like giving up just remember back to the time you guys were crazy for eachother and think if it was worth it back then it's till worth it today |

I am in love with my husband still; we've been married almost eleven years. Actually, I love him more now than I ever did.
If someone thinks they're bored with their spouse, perhaps they're just bored with life. If you're always doing new things with your spouse (as you were when dating), then it doesn't get old. Dating is exciting because both partners put in the effort. |

Marriages go through changes and periods that are not as exciting as others. You have to always work on it. The best thing to do is make sure that the person you choose to marry is the right one and then realize that you both will have to sometimes make an extra effort to keep the romance alive. If you do this, chances are you will be okay. |

I say don't get married unless you are crazy about have children. In this case you should chose your spouse very careful, see if her family is good and have the same value as yours, and see what kind of mother she would make fo your children. And what kind of ex wife she would be in case of divorce. |
