and no, we do not plan to do this every month. i just thought the first month was special or is it just stupid

Make it whatever you want. I didn't celebrate the first month but if you think it should be something more special just put some effort into it.
After so much effort into a wedding and honeymoon it might be nice to have a simple quiet evening however. |

I've been married almost 35 years longer than you have.
There have been years when our anniversary went by and we barely noticed because of things going on in the family....LOL
There have been years when we go all out.....vacations, parties, etc.
The ones that have been the nicest are just the two of us at home having a quiet dinner and closing out the rest of the world.
So this month do whatever you both want to do to celebrate.....and congratulations!!!! |

Perfectly normal. The wife and I celebrated first week, first month, second month, sixth month and then anniversaries, not to mention birthdays and anniversaries of other significant events. There's nothing wrong with it. I think women are more into the who special events thing than men are, but I like to do special dinners for her those days to show I still care about why we're together. |

i think it's always good to celebrate milestones in a relationship...we still celebrate the day we met as well as the day we got married...the day we got engaged...and all the other things in between. |
