I am a single mother of a 2 year old girl and currently going through a divorce. My ex was sponsored by me from cuba in 2003. He is now a Canadian permanent resident. He has not paid me child support in 17 months and he was court order to do so. I believe he is in arrears of almost $8000. I just found out he left Canada on a vacation or possibly for good. If he trys to come back into Canada would he be detained or what could happen?

In the US men that are are in arrears will not be able to get a passport or their current passport is not valid. I don't know about Canada. |
