no... you can't. because he was married to you first, his second marriage is deemed null and void. its illegal to marry 2 people at once, and if someone is already married then all other marriages become null and void until he divorces his first spouse.

No, it isn't free no matter what, there are filing fees with the court.
That said, he just commited a felony. You could turn him in for it and use that as grounds for your divorce, the judge would probably order him to pay your legal fees.

I would think you could get him to pay for the divorce, considering that he's committing bigamy by being married to two women.

No there is no way to get a free divorce. I have heard some states offer fee waivers but I am not sure how accurate that is.
His second marriage is null and void. He is also committing a felony (polygamy) I strongly suggest you contact the court and notify them that he is illegally married to another.
They will likely make him file for divorce (and he should!) and they may bring up charges against him as well.

IF he married w/o getting a divorce from you first, this last marriage is NOT legal! This would actually mean he has two wives? NO NO, not here in the U.S. as that is totally illegal. He is NOT married to her w/o FIRST getting a divorce. Either she is NOT aware he is still married, OR she is just one very "uneducated" person to put it politely! He would have had to have divorce papers to PROVE he in fact did get a divorce, therefore he HAD to have lied that he was married prior, or he could NOT even have been given the license to even get married this time. So, he is just feeding her nothing but a bunch of lies & also had to have stated he was NOT married prior. IF you could let this new "wife" the fact he is still married to you, that their marriage is NOT legal, I don't know what she'd do about it, about him for lying to her in the first place. This is called bigamy, which is NOT recognized here in the U.S. You are NOT in any kind of trouble, he is! Let him get out of it himself. What he chooses to do is all on him. The ONLY other thing could be, is that he DID divorce you w/o you even knowing, & you're unaware of it. I would call the court house where he is residing, & ask IF there has been a divorce between the two of you. IF he did get one, ask if they would send you a "raised seal" copy of the divorce paperwork, it w/no doubt cost you a ck. for $10 to receive it. But, I definitely WOULD ck. just to make sure that he just may have divorced you w/o your knowledge. They w/tell you as it is an "open record" to the public, & they'll be glad to tell you the truth. IF NO divorce has been done, he's married illegially then...Best to you...:)
