Did you ever feel hurt when your sibling fell in love and got married?

Yes its normal,i never had it because my brothers and sister are all a lot older than me but if you are close to someone its natural to feel that might be threatened,you just have to learn to share and realise their feelings for you haven't changed.

Yes it is normal and yes it will get better. I felt the same way when my sister got married. I'm guessing you are pretty young. I was pretty young when my sister got married and it felt like my brother-in-law was stealing my big sister from me. I even cornered him and told him if he ever hurt my sister I would shoot him! But I got over it and now 15 years later I"m even nice to him when I see him. And my big sis and I are closer than ever.

its normal especially with your bond being so close but its one of those things that happens be happy you to will end up in the same situaton

I guess its normal since you are close. Especially if its a younger sibling. I am married, my older brother isn't. We aren't close so he has not experienced these feelings.
As you get older your relationship will fade some because you will both be living your own lives. One of you can't expect the other to drop every thing to come over, ya know?
You will learn to accept it.

NO, as a matter of fact, I feel just the opposite of you. It made me feel so happy to KNOW my children had someone who loved them & cared that much about them they wanted to spend their live w/them! I love my sons in law & my daughter in law just like I love my kids! My daughter in law has been w/my son since they were 19, & they're both 49 now. She actually feels like my own daughter & she treats me as good as or better than her own mother! We are VERY close & I confide things w/her that I don't even confide in my own kids at times. She lives for my son & Grandchildren & has devoted her life to them. I had two beautiful Granddaughters, we lost one a couple yrs. ago suddenly in a car accident. My heart goes out to them as tho it was my own child & I just hurt so badly for them all. I still shed the same tears as they do, I miss her as they do. We are ALL a very close knit family & just FILLED WITH LOVE. I feel IF you'd look at it in another lite, you'd understand how I feel as I do. They are NOT taking away, they are adding to! Try to look at it in that respect, that might be of help to you..And be HAPPY for her...Best to you...:)

My sister has a long term boyfriend who lives with us,
and no I have never felt this way.
I understand that it is not the same as marriage,
But they act like they are married.

Hopefully it will get better.
Try talking to your sibling about it.
Maybe they'll understand.
