You can forgive, but you'll never forget. If you can live with him and act like nothing has happened. As far as the right thing to do? There is no right thing, it's up to the couple and how they handle having a 3rd party brought between them. |

Dont mix up marriage with kids.
He will always be the kids father and youll always be the mother but that has nothing to do with your relationship with your husband.
Look if you want to forgive him knowing your wrong to do so fine, but stop using the kids as an excuse to stay. |

I cheated on my husband once and I told him upfront what I did. It took him awhile but he forgave me. It was the biggest mistake of my life, and I still live with it. It comes up once in a while, but we get through it. I was sincerely sorry for what I did. A lot of people might think I didn't deserve another chance, but me and my husband have been happy since then. We've been married for 7 years and we have 3 kids.
I think if the spouse is cheating all the time and not learning from his or her mistake then its not the right think to do, even if it is for the kids. They would be able to see the tension and it would be bad for them. That's just my opinion. Everyone feels different about this subject. I am the luckiest woman in the world and I know it. My husband could have kicked me to the curb, but instead he forgave me. |

It's not exactly a forgivable thing, but staying together for the kids' sake is a good move, if you can work it out.
Meanwhile, I'd start considering divorce. |
