People are on their best behavior during courtship but as the years roll by the real you pours out. Also, people change, and for many of us we married young and had no idea what life was really all about. Few young people realize that for the whole middle part of their lives paying their stupid bills will be their #1 problem.

For me, I fell in love head over heals and thought the other person felt the same. As is often the case you end up finding out that the person you married isn't in love with you, they're in love with themselves and with the ideas that marriage represents to them. The marriage itself and appearances are more important to them than their spouse.

So asking your question is pretty much the same as asking why a person didn't buy at the bottom or sell at the top. Because only hind sight is 20-20. And in this case, because when people make their decision to marry they're under the influence of love, lust, ego, fear, jealousy, and a whole host of other powerful emotions that cloud their thinking.

We're only human, born to make mistakes.

Mine was great untill our child was around 15 months. I had a happy marriage, and then it feel apart. I was as shocked as anyone. He did not resist tempation once and it cost our marriage. He can't win you back after that. I didn't jump and it didn't work, thats life I guess.

The difference

LOL problems in a marriage only come to light when the marriage becomes solidified as an actual "bonding" of two lives. I knew her as a bit messy but after moving in, I now see her as a full out slob. What do I do? People jump not marriages for various reasons, most claim love. Love of what? the idea of being in love, the idea of getting away, the grandeur of a huge wedding? Lets face it when the crap hits the fan, you find out whom your buddies are and the same with marriage. Good marriages are built on trust, communication and the unity of two "willing" to see one another through good and bad times. Divorce is a cop out like getting caught parking in a red zone for "just a minute officer" while you ran in the store. Either way, you got busted. You now have to see it through to get past it. She was messy, lets sit down and talk about it. Shes not happy, why baby why. Talk to me. They say love is blind so what is marriage? the eyeopener? This should be done before the exchange of rings and vows for better or for worse. Get to really know and accept eachother beforehand. Life is just too short unless you marry badly, then each day is long, oh so long. lol Enjoy and receive marriage for what it is, a gfit and a pleasure that needs to be cared and sacrificed for. Build it right and it will last a lifetime and give many many beautiful memories.

its not really all complaints but its like what are you gonna post how great ur spouse is and how they rubbed ur feet for an hour. its more or less the things that they need help or advice or just wanna hear someone elses opinion also its better than sometimes telling ur friends because then they know all the dirt and judge and crap and its kinda easier to tell strangers ya feel me.

i have been with my bf for 1 1/2 and we live together and its bumpy but i wouldnt change it for the world yes sometimes i wish i would have waited to move in with him and lived at home longer but i wanted to be with him so bad i did it and now and learning how to be a better gf and house keeper.

i love my man and do complain on here because its nice to just vent and get different views because some times i leave upset or kinda blue and i read some answers and get anew look at it sometimes im right and some times im wrong.
