Did you suspect your husband of cheating and it turned out you were right?

A couple of months ago I swore my husband was cheating on me, but of course he denied it. He is in the military and we are being stationed somewhere we cannot afford to live together. So it would be in the best interest for me and my children to move back to where I grew up, there we would have more than enough money to survive. However, I'm scared that if I move back home that he will cheat on me. Or decide that he would rather be single. My biggest fear is that he will want nothing to do with our children. I've always told him if he feels the need to cheat to divorce me rather than cheat. I don't think I can handle being cheated on, it would hurt way too much. I'm not sure what to do. What would you do? And did you ever suspect your husband of cheating and your intuition ended up being correct?
Additional Details
The money problem isn't because we won't be able to afford materialistic things, if I move to where we are being stationed we cannot afford food or gasoline. All of our bills will be paid and we will have a house, just nothing to eat.

if you are having issues trusting him the two of you need to get into counseling and work on those issues.

you shouldn't have to live in fear that your husband is going to cheat on you it is not fair to you or your children

if i were in your situation i would stay with my husband and work on the issues in our marriage before moveing away. yeah your going to have to make sacrafices to live in a city you might not be able to afford now but what would you rather give up

materialistic things or your marriage and family?

FIGHT FOR YOUR MARRIAGE AND YOUR FAMILY. and if in the end it doesn't work out at least you know that you fought for your marriage and gave it everything you had. and in the process you showed your children that FAMILY IS WORTH FIGHTING FOR, love is worth fighting for and your marriage is worth fighting for.

hope everything works out for you

From what I have heard about cheating, if you suspect it, it is usually (not always) happening. You can't stop him whether you stay or move back. If he really wants to cheat, he will. If he really wants to remain faithful he will. It is all about choices - his choices - there is not much you can do. I would move back and if I suspected he has cheated, try to find proof. If I found proof - he would be gone for good.

I have never suspected my husband of cheating in 22 years.

I AM IN THE PLAYPEN WITH MILDRED

i didn't exactly think he was cheating but one day when he went out of town to work and he rarely did that i felt so sad that day for what reason i had no idea. seemed to come from within and not from outside because outwardly i couldn't see it. i didn't realize that my intuition was warning me and i just missed it i guess. it is sometimes true that when your not living with your spouse that he could decide to cheat just depends on the man and what his belief system is. i would try to get a job first, any job, i wouldn't leave my marriage, because it is true that they might decide to cheat , but then again they can cheat right under your nose too.

Why won't you be able to afford food or gas? The military pays for your housing if you live inside the base and you decide to live off base they give you enough money for a place to live. Also, if the cost of living is high at your next duty station, the military will give you a cost of living allowance (COLA) for food, gas and other incidentals. I have been stationed in very expensive parts of europe, the north east states, Southern California, and currently in Hawaii and I have always been able to take my family with me and managed to live comfortably. I have a feeling he just wants to leave you and does not want you around. Sorry, I hope it works out for you

Here's a thought: If he divorced you because he fell in love with someone else, would it really hurt less than if he cheated?
My ex (was with him for five years) cheated on me most of the time we were together. I suspected it, but like an idiot, believed he would never do that to me. After five years, I ended up because I thought I was going to ruin the relationship anyway with my "paranoia". Turns out he was cheating on me. What led me to the feelings were the ways some girls would react to me when they met me...at first, I thought oh, they are jealous, or they like him and know he is with me. After some time, it would drive me crazy because he was always acting like I was the one not getting along with his friends or a girl he worked with.
Go with your intuition.

Excuse me for asking but are we talking about an african american here? If so I have heard from my black friends that this happens all the time with them for some reason. However, if you don't have any evidence then don't go around thinking the worse - you will only cause it to happen. Go back home with your children and think that everything is o.k. Don't go looking for problems that don't exist.
